Jesse Weise (New Art at Bandidas)

Jesse is a ceramic Artist in Vancouver. Her roots are dance and has been a mover since the beginning and teaches lyrical dance here in Vancouver at Harbour Dance Centre. She discovered the movement of clay over 25 years ago and has being making pottery ever since. She loves to make functional art.

Her pottery is informed by movement and life. She is inspired by the human form and has been making boob art for years as well as her more traditional pots, cups, plates and bowls that have made their way to a few restaurants in town and many tables all over the world. Food tastes better on artfully created dinnerware.

All shapes and sizes inspire the shapes she makes.
