Kids have a certain bluntness we adults tend to shy away from when is comes to talking about such uncomfortable things as our environment and what future awaits us. Each year, this show is incredibly impactful and this year is no different. These kids are growing up in an era of significant environmental awareness, and they expressed their thoughts pointedly in this collection.

The works comes from three East Van classrooms whom we connected with after our Fireweed fundraiser and art show on Inauguration Day. The classes visited Bandidas to study art and its role in democracy, and returned to the classrooms to create their own works of response to the election results.
