Each year, Megaphone's low-income and homeless vendors take part in the Hope in Shadows photography contest. Using single-use film cameras, vendors capture images of their communities and submit them for a chance to be featured in the annual Hope in Shadows calendar.

Familiar blue city skylines decorate the walls of Bandidas this month (and one roaming Sasquatch). The paintings of Vancouverite Corinne Palmer are uniquely charming, and are brightening up the walls of our restaurant.
Corinne’s work will be up for the next month, so be sure to check it out next time you’re around!
The breathtaking photographs of visual effects artist & photographer Brett Swanson are decorating the walls of Bandidas. The prints are an arrangement of scenery in British Columbia; some far away and some close up, but all vivid, colourful and thought provoking.
The prints will be here for a month, and are all available for sale through Brett.
As of June 26th some of our prices will be going up. Please know that we do not raise our prices without serious consideration -- affordability is a core value of our business. We know that access to affordable and healthy food increases individual and community well-being. When people can afford to feed themselves well, they have more capacity to invest in their own lives as well as more capacity to contribute to the city and community in a positive way
